What Volatility is
Volatility is an online Australian trading platform specialising in securities and exchange-traded options. It is operated by Volatility Pty Ltd.
The platform is designed to connect market analysis, multi-leg options strategy construction, pricing, execution and portfolio risk. It also supports Australian equities, ETFs, live market data, research and trade ideas.
Account structure
Securities and cash remain distinct.
Volatility's current account setup includes a CHESS-sponsored HIN for eligible Australian securities and a Macquarie Cash Management Account used as the linked cash account. The HIN identifies holdings on the CHESS subregister; the CMA holds settlement cash.
